Good Compensation but Stressful Workplace

Pros

Good remuneration, good training programmes for staff. Lots of teamwork between various mine sites in West, East and Southern Africa

Cons

Huge differentials between expat and local staff. Lots of tensions with South African and Australian managers based in West Africa. They have issues with respect and it often made the working environment difficult.

Well they trained me on multiple courses and.provided me with "Mental Toolbox" Filled with experience and Continuous Improvent skills. Stress management and Targets orientated.

Cons

Salaries are not up to paar with rest of mines industry. Currently restructuring and Down scaling. Intensely Stressful and Demanding minimises personal free time.
