A once great company has now fallen

Business Outlook

Pros

Excellent mission, excellent compensation, excellent benefits, great work/life balance

Cons

The newly hired c-level leadership knows very little about the business. I believe the c-level leadership has sold a bad bill of goods to the CEO and board of directors. Destroying highly profitable business unites, and laying off employees who were bringing in significant revenue for the business is the definition of biting the hand that feeds you. It's quite unbelievable. So many valuable employees, who legitimately lived the mission, and added much value to the organization have been laid-off, with little rhyme or reason. And again, highly profitable areas of the business are "no longer in the business plan for 2024". The executive decisions make no sense.

Leadership problems at C level

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Good salaries, specially in Sales and for people in the US Remote work “Mission driven”

Cons

The CEO seems to be facing some challenges in leadership. There's been quite a bit of turnover among the C-level executives, and terminations seem to be happening without much thought. This frequent reshuffling isn't conducive to stability, and whenever a new senior hire joins, they tend to initiate significant changes with the CEO's approval. The core issue here is that the C-level leadership lacks a deep understanding of our business, and the main problem lies in our inability to articulate a clear value proposition to attract clients. We're not necessarily the best, the cheapest, or the fastest, and there's a noticeable absence of a coherent sales strategy. As for the new Chief Business Officer (responsible for sales), it appears that he is more focused on personnel changes than making substantive progress. Currently, the CEO continues to have faith in him, though I believe this may be a misjudgment.
