Pros

Great salary and benefits. Amdocs stands among the leaders of their market and is always seeking for the edge. In many areas Amdocs is the leader company. Working in Amdocs makes you feel you are at the top of the market, qualified for any other type of job in any other company.

Cons

It's a Israeli company. Israeli people work hard and are incredibly smart. This is good, however it means they also expect a lot from you. By April 2021 Amdocs had 26k employees around the world producing at 150% performance. For you to have a good work life balance, Amdocs should have 40k employees. Working late hours and weekends is common practice in Amdocs

Dead End!

Pros

benefits, flexible hours, free lunch annually

Cons

In US, many layoffs, very few raises or bonuses, horrible morale, lied to frequently, no advancement. This is an Israel based company, and they do not care for their US based employees as well as they do their Israeli and Indian employees. Many of us were transitioned from AT&T and Amdocs seems resentful of us. They do not care about how many hours we need to work to satisfy their unreasonable commitments.

Pros

Cons

Went through a long interview process, was offered a position, and accepted the offer. After leaving my previous job and while I was onboarding with the company, a local client changed their engagement with Kenzan. In response, Kenzan eliminated the position without actually firing me as a way to avoid paying unemployment. In my 20 years as a technology professional, I have never seen a more heartless series of events from a company. I lost my healthcare as a single parent and had to scramble to find a new job without the time and care I should have had to find a suitable position. This had a significant and adverse impact on my life, health, and wellbeing. Avoid at all costs.

First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere and heartfelt apologies for the impact that this situation has had on the individual who wrote this post. At Kenzan, we strive to make the candidate experience streamlined, open, and most importantly communicative. As part of the offer process, we provide each candidate with clarity as to the contingencies that must be cleared before the offer is final and the definite start date is provided. It is an extremely rare event that would cause Kenzan to rescind an offer. When this particular event occurred, we experienced an unusual circumstance which was wholly out of our control and which required the need to rescind an offer prior to a start date being provided. Kenzan’s business model relies on client relationships, and if a client changes their requirements, our staffing needs change accordingly. In our experience, this type of situation is extremely rare, and we hope to never find ourselves in faced with this predicament again. We are pleased to know that you were successful in finding employment elsewhere and wish you continued growth.
