Not recommended for software engineers. My job title was software developer, But I didn't have enough chance to code. The people who code are to follow the rules of ancient standards. And they are working overseas.
Perhaps it's only the problem in this area and some person from India and most of the people from here believe they must be superior to the new joiners in every aspect.
If the new person has any technical advantage that outstands, then some seniors grind their teeth. Some will retaliate against the junior abusing their power and knowledge which is useful only in the company. Some people are know-it-all. And they want to be regarded as almighty. They are dangerous people. Because they will use dishonest and very manipulative means to make such impression. They lie frequently for their benefit and are hypocritical.
They are arrogantly proud of their career experience in the past and bluntly look down on people from less wealthy families. They show off the money they spend. The funny thing is they explicitly support Democrats. One of the people even said that the person believes that a hierarchical society is an ideal form. They will try to learn good things from you and will control you in rude ways until you lose your health.
Surveillance and talking behind your back are everywhere. Be careful of a word you say if you are a new joiner.
Last but not least, I hope the candidate has some time to think about the reason why there's no page for Amdocs in Jobplanet before you apply for a job there.
