      Pros

      Higher than normal salary. Health, dental and vision insurance. 401k contribution. Paid vacation time. The company does have an excellent benefit package.

      Cons

      Zero life balance if you are a supervisor or higher in management. Expected to be on call 24/7. Can be discriminatory depending on current plant manager and human resource manager.

      Generally good local skill levels, potential and dedicated commitment to company Believed new Managers and work in progress (at time of leaving) had potential for implementing and assisting with some of required changes across the site if supported, encouraged and not restricted Nationally

      Restricted by historical National poor business and competition decisions National Operational management levels high Curtailed by restrictive and over generous National EBA conditions Restricted through belief Nationally that all sites were at the same level of development and/or understanding of and the level of ability to truly implement initiatives for change The buried culture and values was strong and supportive and wanted constructive changes and improvements but had become insular and defensive from previous practices, continuous changes of management and skill levels over the years.
