Pros

Amcor is truly an awesome company to work for — one that values its people just as much as its products. The HR team is top-notch, driving initiatives that empower employees to grow, lead, and make an impact. You’re encouraged to run your business like an entrepreneur, with the freedom to innovate while staying aligned with policy and corporate guidelines. What stands out most is the strong partnership between Operations, Plant Leadership, and HR — a rare synergy that ensures every decision balances business success with people’s well-being. Leadership here doesn’t just understand the numbers; they understand the people behind the performance. If you’re looking for a place where collaboration, growth, and purpose come together, Amcor delivers at every level.

Cons

The only downside is that remote work options are limited, and there currently isn’t a Houston-area location for internal transfers — otherwise, I would have stayed with the organization. Amcor truly offers a rewarding and people-centered environment that’s hard to match.
