Pros

Dress code is casual - but that's about the only positive thing to say about the company

Cons

Terrible company to work for. I would not recommend this job to anyone. Attrition is extremely high in management. Work life balance is horrible.

Pros

Amazon is a fast paced company where you get the opportunity to work on just about every aspect of a problem to get it done. If you have the right type of personality (I do) then this is a great chance to try out allot of different job roles without switching companies or positions.

Cons

Due to lack of inter-team coordination developers are often required to take on job roles that they might not be interested in or suited for. It's not uncommon to see your manager acting as a technical lead, developer, manager, project manager and marketing person all at once. Also, Amazon lacks any sort of training programs for it's staff. You won't find any sort of training programs at the company..
