Pros

- Pretty good pay even after stock crash. - Work can be interesting if you ask for it, otherwise you'll get boring stuff. - there's RTO, but my team is based on Seattle so I don't have to go in. But if you join now, you have to work on a local team with RTO.

Cons

- Pay doesn't get updated very well yearly. Incentives you to leave for a jump. - RTO if your team is local - Oncall work

Great pay, bad tools

Pros

Great benefits, with the exception of limited holidays.

Cons

Custom in-house tools such as Brazil, Quip, etc are terrible. Leadership claims to allow divisions to act independently, yet will make an endless sea of red tape if an org actually wants to use GitHub or do anything outside of the "Amazon Process".
