Pros

Pros: - The pay is okay. - you get to work from home permanently if you're from certain states. - Statutory bonus. - The gifts are great.

Cons

- Workload is immense, you will contemplate about your life choices at times. - the interaction with sellers never goes well. Also most of the sellers are either borderline nutcases or oversmart belligerents who are sometimes too dumb or too stubborn to understand and replicate steps. - with mails it is manageable, but dealing with sellers on chats is absolutely nightmarish. To make things worse mails are about to be taken out of the equation and sellers will only get the option to create chats or calls. Most of the sellers are toddlers. - The volume of chat contacts has increased exponentially and it will only get worse. - Sellers openly commit fraud through reimbursement requests with obvious malicious patterns and there is no system to report this formally.

Pros

Great job to get into Amazon , best thing is due to rotational shift you just have to be online till your shift ends, after that you are not answerable to anyone. If the job is on sight it a very different expirience - the people , the infra , game zone , food and the climate on floor.

Cons

It is a CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB Do not go for IN market place , chats calls and email are continuous in day shift timings which is (9 am - 9 pm). only 1 hour break is allowed (30-15-15) in 9 hours of shift. Expectations to maintain metrics are weirdly high L5 and L6 managers are not at all aware of the ground realities, just imposing the metric guidlines and regulations. The SPS orgasation is not at all aware of the whole process and the managerial positions are filled with the people who are not at all trained in that specific market place, only few managers are home grown Due to night shift the work life balance is disturbed. most of the managers are co-operative and the metrics expectations are very high.
