      Amazon in China is also a big player in e-commerce business, though not NO. 1. It also has kindle and AWS business here.

      1. it is relatively hard to make changes in such a big international company 2. the business in China is not as good as U.S. or U.K, which makes our employer branding less attractive to outsiders 3. high workload

      Pros

      Having three phone interviews and went to the local office. Four hour in-person interview. Phone interviews consisted of technical questions and in-person interview consisted of technical and personal questions.

      Cons

      Incredibly smart peers and huge career impact(would be vary on your team) My team was great. Whenever u asked a question to your mentor, they will gently answer to your question.

      Pros

      I loved working at Amazon - the headquarters area was really great once we all moved to South Lake Union. It was nice to meet colleagues at one of the many coffee shops or cafeterias. The stock price increased significantly during my time there so my original stock was worth much more than I planned on - a nice surprise. Working on a team with Jeff exposure was challenging and fun - Kindle in 2010-2012 was a GREAT place to be.

      Cons

      Amazon is a challenging company to work for - there are a lot of long hours, stressful meetings, and travel. It was tough to take all of your vacation unless you specifically made it a priority. However, I think the pros far outweigh the cons.
