Pros

When you are in a meeting with people at Amazon, you are with some of the smartest people you will ever meet. Unlike many companies where you might think you are the smartest person at the company, at amazon you will lucky to be average. The people are the hardest working, most driven group that is at one cohesive company.

Cons

The culture to employees at amazon is horrible. Managers are held under high pressure and pass it down to employees. Employees are sacrificed as scape goats to senior management for any mistakes. Working at Amazon is 80 hours a week, every week and there is no respect for personal boundaries. The average tenure at amazon is 2.5 years.
