Pros

Ample opportunity to move around once you're in. Very interesting projects. Excellent place to work if you have thick skin and are able to manage your time, and want to play politics. Very smart people to work with who are all there for the same reason ... very few companies offer the diversity of projects with incredible scale and impact on markets. I look at my ten years there as a Masters program where I learned a ton and was paid well. It was a truly great education I wouldn't trade for anything.

Cons

Management is largely focused on advancing or protecting their own careers. In 10 years, I had 9 bosses - most of them managed out. Try navigating your own career through that. Change is the norm. Early on, employees needed to think on their feet, improvise and move quickly. There are a lot fewer of those jobs now and most are fairly cookie-cutter. To be clear, Amazon's Sr. levels view employees as commodity, not unlike the stuff they sell.

Pros

Work at home is convienient, theres no commute and you can work in your pjs! Amazons system is very well developed and updated so there isnt much confusion when learning it. Social interaction among team members is encouraged. The hours are flexible, they will work with you to find a schedule that works for you. There's also a lot of overtime avaialble aswell as volunteer time off. There's always someone available to help if you need it.

Cons

Call volume is high. Back to back calls and chats all day everyday. Expectations are high. You are expected to work within time limits. A customer call length isn't an issue but hold time and aftercall work is limited and can be discouraging when you are learning. Customers can be very rude.

Pros

Good coworkers, young atmosphere, good base pay for sales, Amazon provides great name recognition

Cons

Huge letdown, overly and overtly political, toxic management, lack of loyalty from Amazon for its employees, concerns of employees are minimized and not addressed leaving negativity to fester, management has unrealistic expectations for sales goals without providing tools, asks sales people to hit a tough quota AND do a lot of side work and projects on top, management is disjointed, huge delusional egos at play, lack of follow through from management, management actually picks on employees, HR is a joke... could go on.
