Pros

You will learn and grow in the field , it will help you choose a great career regardless which way in IT you choose to go. Also it motivates me to start my own business in the future.

Cons

The only cons is long hours, people expecting certain solutions every time you repair or troubleshoot and the problem can be more complex. I love learning but I hate having to keep renewing certifications.
