Easy work environment, flex/WFH time.

Cons

- Low tech work especially if you are educated - Highly political environment - Minimal recognition unless you are at the bottom of the pay scale - Very, very, very few African-Americans and Hispanics. - Most of the core technology is legacy stuff that leadership does not want to touch or are not progressive enough to take the time and effort to make the change - Many employees do not have Allstate life, home nor auto insurance. - Most in leadership position have marginal technology background or education.

Very laidback and political environment at Allstate Operations in Pune

Part of a good enterprise , perks for call center operations work , fruit distribution , cab pick and drop.

Cons

Dirty politics, toxic working environment. Senior managers sitting at top has become ripe and now rotten. CI is a focus less group --not team. HR is useless and mostly invisible. No focus: emp grievance to people development. Not sure if competency, skill or IQ/EQ level tests undertaken before hiring. HR leaders doesn’t come Pune office being unwell most times. Enterprise goodness is “killed” by local leadership for vested interests, divide between locals and migrant population becoming deep. Clearly lacks thought leadership currently...people from other geographies should be bought in to audit to course correct.

Fast paced, customer service positions. You feel that you make a difference in people's lives. Excellent pay and benefits especially for those that achieve. Great people to work with. Company is always trying to improve and streamline.

Cons

There is so much work to do that you can be torn between getting work done and excellent customer service. Must be able to work at as fast pace and make quick critical thinking decisions. Must be able to tolerate customer complaints and work toward a customer satisfying outcome.
