Esurance and Allstate Claims Handling Experience

Pros

Flexible hours and friendly low-level management. Lots of training materials at disposal and good benefits/PTO. Work from home is amazing. Good company for corporate ladder climbing.

Cons

Extremely poor communication on transformative growth and horribly low and unfair pay for the workload. FNOL department is god awful and messes things up daily. High claim volume of at most 11+ new losses per day makes for insane call volume and nearly impossible desk management. They'll fire tenured reps for only not meeting 1 metric. I could write an essay on how little appreciation I feel as a tenured employee here with Esurance / Allstate.

Pros

There are no longer any benefits to working at Allstate.

Cons

The CEO is making moves that will fill his pockets but are terrible for US employees. Outsourcing and offshoring thousands of US jobs.
