Pros
Used to be a good place to work - made great friends, had opportunities for growth and knowledge (80's, early 90's)
Cons
This place DOES NOT care about employees (and probably not the customers either). Stockholders are 'king'. Only care is cutting expenses, so that CEO (and bonus level officers) can get their bonuses. CEO rec'd 30% increase in income for 2009, after cutting 1000's of employees (and losing customers and policies in force). Morale is at an all-time low, favoritism and brown-nosing culture. They are a 'good ol boys network'. Several Million dollar projects are started, then aborted each year. The strategic planning is horrendous. Millions are wasted annually - with stops/starts - then with no implementations. To make budget for the next year, they make more cuts (but the gains or efficiencies are never achieved). Nice environment - eh???
