Pros

If you're lucky enough...or smart enough to demand to be partnered with a very successful agency that is really going to work with you it could be good. Problem is that the best agencies are already dominated by existing EFSs.

Cons

The company will not level the playing field among EFSs. The old time EFS have cornered the market on the best agencies and the company will not spread the wealth. You'll be stuck with the very small, failing agencies and be expected to create miracles.

Pros

Benefits are really good, particularly the 401k profit sharing. Constant reviews are a plus, always room for improvement in their eyes. They also offer much opportunity to give back to the community through charity work.

Cons

Dress attire is often on the lower end, not sticking to the policy standards of business casual. Too many times people go to work looking as if they just left a night club. Although Allstate is good on providing quarterly reviews for employees, at times it seems excessive. Allstate also has a tendency of looking at numbers as appose to the customer, however that's the norm with most insurance companies.
