Only HDHP healthcare benefits, recently eliminated PPO options. The company is raising insurance premiums $1800 each year for the next couple of years to gradually reduce benefits. Northbrook campus is being reduced, teams being relocated around country Only managers and up are bonus eligible, equivalent to 4 levels above entry

Allstate use to be a wonderful company to work for. Over my 21 years with the company, I saw a change in the culture where all they cared about was profit. The customers were just a number and management figured they could just replace them with new ones. Same mentality with the Agency Owners. Your customers and agents are the ones who made this company what it was. You should take care of both of them!

Seemed like a good job, with good benefits.

Cons

Our office and management was great. To corporate, we were just another number. They laid off most of claims staff in Northern Ca. via one-directional conference call (only corporate could speak). Many of those laid off have been with Allstate for many years. Outsourcing all calls to phone centers out of state - no more personal service.
