Pros

The campus was huge and offered so much on site like a Starbucks, good cafeteria, nail salon, dry cleaning, running/walking track.

Cons

Old school corporate insurance. Nothing innovative going on here, they say they are progressive, but in all reality they are a huge corporation struggling with modernizing themselves. Insurance premiums high, and benefits more expensive every year.

Pros

Big company with nice reputation

Cons

Allstate is moving toward going online and phasing local agents out of a job. Customer service is average at best. Claims are also average at best. Underwriting support is usually subpar. Guidelines and restrictions make writing new business difficult, and time is wasted spent tracking down useless paperwork for existing customers. The current quoting system is clunky and outdated. The new quoting system is full of kinks. Tech support is overseas and overwhelmed and usually takes a day or more to resolve more complicated issues. There are constantly software issues. Agents can no longer bind same-day policies.
