Oftentimes I would be trying to close a sale and my quote would be simply $5-$10 more a month than a competitor and there was absolutely no chance I could get Allstate to lower their quote (legally and honestly) so I could close the sale. I would lose many sales this way after putting in hours of work with these customers. There was absolutely no avenue for me to even ask, no way to change it at all. If you're honest in sales, you won't make any money.
