Pros

Allied is great if you want to get hired and on a site quickly and are trying to get your foot in the door in the security world.

Cons

This company does not have the backs of it's employees, in the course of less than two months on a site I saw half of my coworkers let go or asked to leave, from entry level guards manning the gates to the account manager at the site. Somehow despite this turnover there is still not a lot of room for advancement due to them having a very flat org chart.

Pros

Will sponsor you for a security clearance, depending on your contract requirements. More than likely will be tons of overtime, if you're looking for extra cash.

Cons

Overtime can be a blessing and a curse. Can't leave your post if your relief doesn't show up on time. Not a company you want to be with for the long haul, for many, many reasons.
