Pros

Benefits, campus, cafeteria, large staff

Cons

A member of management in the contact center has been using her position of power to recruit her employees and entry level call center employees for Amway. This has been brought to the attention of HR, screen shots were provided as well as a group of near double digit employees speaking to Amway favoritism and feeling retaliation for not joining. HR "concluded and resolved" the situation (not the first time HR has been contacted in regards to this problematic leader). The manager remained intact and immediately continued pressing staff to join Amway. It's tough to support a company that will knowingly allow this to happen. I was unable to choose to remain at a company that lacked the integrity to defend its staff from retaliation.

Pros

Some Benefits- but 401 k was actually insignificant after more than a year working there.

Cons

This is the first and only time in which I worked for a company where the norm is that the customer isn’t first, and shows very contradictory culture with the company values they claim to stand by. Lots of micromanaging and stress. They fired people left and right within first year for the most ridiculous reasons. If you got sick one day, it would count as “dependability issues” and that is one of the reasoning for firing that was used in my case (I used one single sick day in a year and a half, but my manager wanted it on my record for six months). Sick days come out of your vacation days. I was one of the last ones from my hiring group to survive the firing. My manager received company-wide recognition for embodiment of the company values! That should have told me something. I was lured into this place because they “advertise” as Best Place to Work. I found it’s a paid ad when it was too late.
