      The company offers lots of benefits and the salary is good. People in the office are nice and they even organize lots of events to socialize

      Pros

      Fairly chill work, good work-life balance, decent benefits and pay.

      Cons

      Software engineering at Align, depending on the team, is pretty ancient and some of the tools and technologies used are very outdated (Java 8 and Swing!). You could be going backward in your career growth as a SWE if you end up on one of these teams. Also, company culture is very minimal - no team-building or social groups/activities - though there are occasional happy hours and snack events.

      Very tocsic management, a lot of micromanaging. Promoted and recognize by bonuses only the close ones.
