-Company says they are financially sound but the layoffs say otherwise -"transparency" does not exist, questions are allowed, but filtered. -While the hybrid schedule is great, if you are not scanning your badge you get a "talking to" for not being present enough in the office. -HR is a joke, they started outsourcing to a third party for somethings like maternity leave. Good luck if you have anything happen in your life like get married or have a child. You have to hunt down resources, no clear path. -Recent growth initiatives were recently launched, but Align has been on constant hiring freezes, prepare for a "someday" opportunity.

I am writing about Align’s EMEA region, maybe it’s different in the US. In a nutshell, it was a painful experience that almost drove me to depression and burnout, with zero appreciation and reward for 300% work the company put on me. 1. It’s a hardcore sales environment. You hit the targets, you earn well. If you don’t or you are not in sales, you get the minimum 2. They claim they have heart. Do robots have heart? Lol. Most toxic and impersonal environment I have ever experienced in my career. 3. Some colleagues were plain aggressive and rude and everyone knew about it, yet their behavior was even encouraged by leadership 4. Heavy email culture. A million emails a day - so exhausting, especially after coming back from a day off 5. People are overworked- they work until late at night, send emails and get immediate replies. The stress of another email tomorrow morning is too much so people work and answer emails well into the night. I learned so much during my time at Align, after all I probably covered 3 times the amount of work I would have had during the same time period at a different company, so I am still happy I went through this but even happier now that’s it’s over.
