      Pros

      Good benefits, good bonus structure, work family balance, flexible hours whenever possible. Good outplacement services given to all affected with the moving of positions to Texas (Fort Worth, ALCON headquarters). Acceptable severance package for those who were affected with the move or were asked to leave.

      Cons

      Everything was OK till Alcon acquisition. Transparency in information and fairness promised but did not appear to be implemented when the time came. "Accept what we (Alcon) give you or you can leave"

      not much structure, so opportunity to create processes

      not much structure and ambiguity can be a hindrance the merger with alcon will make things even more challenging
