Benefits are ok, the salary is not the greatest but it is better than nothing. Vacation time is nice and holiday pay is great, especially Christmas shutdown, all of us get paid for shutdown, about 6 or 7 days.

Cons

Not recommended to other people to join the company. Waste of time.

Pros

Working with the people at Alcon has been fantastic. Great pay and benefits, and some of the best people in the indsutry

Cons

Novartis acquired the company a few years ago and 99% of the sales team is frustrated with how they run the company. Several top sales people have left and the overall morale is low and growing lower. Backorders and products rushed to market have left a bad taste in longtime Alcon supporters

A lot of flexibility and am able to create own strategies for what I believe is best for my territory

Cons

Commission can change every year and the company has been changing its strategy as of late so job security isn't the best
