Perfect job for somebody interested in high technology and secure mediocre life

very high salary, a lot of vacation days, beeing part of the EADS company (having the possibility to move to Airbus, Astrium, Eurocopter), trainings provided every year, friendly lower management, working on high technology aircraft / systems, bus transfer to work provided, good cafeteria

Cons

low morale; pessimism; unclear future of company, because of low risk approach for new products of executive management; politics; hierachical organised; in case for Manching: remote location; possibly no more aircraft development

Nice area in downtown Wichita. Lots of good restaurants, usually good parking. Wood floors, nice chairs.

Cons

Lots of benefits if you are part of the 'Good Ol' Boys Club'. Lots of mistrust of employees from engineering management. (Unless you are part of the club). The mistrust should be of the engineering management personnel. Poor reviewing system
