      Mobility within business, Friendly working environment cutting edge design, tools and methods

      Sometimes too much travel required to visit all sites, if you are involved in certain programs

      Airbus is trying really hard to keep us all engaged, but some difficult times ahead and investment is reducing in Filton

      Pros

      Great flexibility (flexitime etc) the people you work with are fantastic The work is really interesting, who doesn't enjoy playing with planes? they try to encourage cross fertilisation of ideas It is a good place to work if you can find an interesting project/task

      Cons

      Too much focus on management structures and pointless additional layers of management Checklist engineering takes priority over the actual engineering Climate of who can blame the supplier first is somewhat boring Most engineering occurs in Toulouse so sooner or later you'll need to decide if you're going to shift your life to France or accept that your career is limited With most of the big projects closing up now, there appear to be limited options/investment in the 2-5 year future
