      Pros

      Benefits out pace competitors in the area. Work life balance is the best I have experienced. 12 weeks of parental leave. Lots of opportunities for career progression at very regular intervals. Scheduled raises/bonuses. ESOP is great.

      Cons

      At work experience depends a lot on the department you’re in. I have almost no complaints about my department whatsoever but do know of other departments with major cultural issues. Try to learn a bit about the department’s culture from its team members before accepting an offer.

      - Nice culture - Experience to develop internal tools for Airbus Engineering Community - If you closely collaborate with EU colleagues for development, those are are some sweetest teams to come across - Opportunity to travel once a year for 1-2 weeks for PI planning events

      Cons

      - Slow moving company - Lacking transparency from management - Many internally developed engineering software tools lack coding guidelines (testing and deployment cycles) - Except when delivering for Airlines, many tools are small and not scalable - Except profit sharing bonusus come with 1-2 year contracts - Excempting new orgs like IM and Skywise, most of the top management fail to recognise the importance of digitalization and many PoC die early - May not be a good place for Software Development in long run as the core business is manufacturing
