The sense of team and family in the field offices. The willingness of the DBO to always assist others as much as possible.

Cons

On the administrative side of the house there is very little room for advancement.

Great place to start in the staffing world.

It is a really great place to start your career in either Administrative support or Sales. You learn a lot about how the entire recruiting/hiring process is run, and from a sales/recruiting perspective, the money is good right out of college. Taking personal time off was almost never a problem as long as you are forthcoming and schedule it ahead of time.

Cons

The room for advancement on either side of the spectrum is tough. If they like where you are, you are going to stay there no matter what you do or say. The pay for administration is terrible, far below par, especially considering the amount of work that is asked of you.

Aerotek provides entry-level candidates with a strong background in the basics of the recruiting industry as well as the oppotunity to develop overall business competencies in client relations, time-management, and negotiation.

Cons

Work at a field office can at times take on a "Boiler-Room" atmosphere. The average age of a field-office is mid-twenties and while this lends itself to a fun atmosphere it can also feel like you are still in college. In general the leadership is very competent but openess to new methods of doing work and "forward-thinking" leadership seems to be lacking.
