Working for Accor in the UK

Pros

Accor is a very successful and profitable business in the UK. The training you receive is very good and there are opportunities to progress within the network of hotels both in the UK and overseas.

Cons

Having said that Accor is very successful most front line employees are paid at the minimum wage and many are on zero hours contracts. This suits many employees particularly students but sometimes staff (particularly in the Restaurant) are sent home early if there are few customers which seems a bit unfair if you have been told your shift would go on for longer and you don't get paid for the extra hours.
