      Global Company Builds Success One Employee at a Time

      Pros

      The caliber of my co-workers is very high. Plenty of opportunity to innovate and work across the country and company. Morale is reasonably high. Conpensation is good and my supervisors have been generous with praise when it's appropriate. The work/life balance, while elusive for some, is supported by my management.

      Cons

      The work can become monotonous for some. Opportunities for advancement can be slow in coming. This is a company for Type A folks. If you don't fit that mold, the corporate culture will likely weed you out.

      Pros

      due to the natual of consultant world, i was giving enviorments that will force me to make changes for specific situation.

      Cons

      projects partners was given too much of power and they don't always follow the Accenture rules. They are running the project as their own business. They don't care about the retention rate of their employee. If they lost 10 they will get 10 right away. Balance work and life are only for promotions but not for real work enviorements.

      Pros

      Training and Development, Meeting a lot of new and talented people. A lot of travelling opportunties, fun people, a huge expense budget for drinking, food, etc. Most of the accenture partners are pretty loose with the budgets. Some ridiculously spend, which is great for a new analyst wanting to live the high life on the road.

      Cons

      Too many strategic shifts in the company. Promotion is all based on who you know not what you know. The person you least deserves it can get promoted faster than anyone. Basically, if you know how to play the game, you're on the fast track to partner.
