Pros

Good peer group, smart people, conservative company, fair employee practices, good business model, brilliant people, good knowledge base, good place to grow for a go getter

Cons

Not people friendly, does not look for people's strength and utilize it for self as well as company's growth, Poor people health cover for Singapore employees. Employees in US and Europe have better benefits.

Pros

Smart, hard working people for the most part. In 5 years at the firm, have had more career opportunities and experiences than most of my friends and classmates.

Cons

Travel. If you like getting on a plane twice a week, then this is a non-issue. The firm is what you make it. Work hard, deliver, and foster relationships and you will succeed.

Pros

My experience with Accenture was a good one overall. I was hired out of college and they immediately throw you into a "sink or swim" environment. It was a great learning experience and I was able to really bolster my technical skills. Additionally, the network you'll be plugged into can be a tremendous asset.

Cons

Although all my reviews through the years were either satisfactory or above, I felt I wasn't being compensated fairly for the works I was doing. Accenture has a somewhat strange compensation model and it depends quite a bit of when you get hired, where you get hired, and the the type of work you're doing. After 5 years with the company, I was managing a small development team and I found out that several of my direct reports (who were at an Analyst level) were making at or more than I was. Not cool. Also, I had requested several times to assist with proposal and/or other business development efforts and each time I was politely told that at my level (consultant) there was nothing they could offer me.
