Poor people management practices are significantly impacting the Digital Product Management team in the Omnichannel department. Favoritism and a highly micromanaging style stifle employee growth, while managers prioritize their own advancement and take credit for team successes. The lack of regular check-ins and a constantly shifting roadmap contribute to a disengaged and potentially demotivated team. Furthermore, the inconsistency in performance evaluations, where even consistently high performers can receive a "Needs Improvement" rating, undermines trust and morale. This problematic leadership is directly causing high attrition in the Bottom Funnel team, and despite this, upper management has not intervened.
