Not the worst place to work in IT, but...
Pros
From a business analyst perspective at the corporate offices, there are many talented, friendly and hard working individuals.
Cons
There has been a great deal of turnover and loss of knowledge in the BA pool over the past year leading to a lot of hard lessons for the replacement staff. The current senior management in IT Service Delivery has been unsuccessful in defining a clear and documented project management methodology. In turn, BA roles and responsibilities are painfully vague with little support or communication from project management. Further, BA resources are not hired, managed, or compensated based on experience or merit. Some seasoned Business Analysts have been hired at significantly lower wages and have greater responsibilities than some entry level Business Analysts recently hired.
