The items you work with can be pretty fun, Especially if you enjoy golf or guns.

Cons

Management can be overbearing and tend to try to hold your employment over your head like the sword of Damocles, This isn't a unique job there are literally tens of thousands of jobs just like it.

Pros

If you clock in on time, get your work done well, and make an impression on management you will have advancement opportunities within the store fall into your hands. Relatively simple work and the people make long or busy days worth it.

Cons

Seems to be a lack of communication from management on down to regular associates. Unless you talk to the managers or people who do you can go a long time without hearing about what should be considered important information. Also the department lead positions don't get paid nearly enough for what they have to be responsible for.
