Pros

Very flexible scheduling, very lucrative sales floor with many incentives and opportunities for you to make a serious living and grow. If you don't know something, the Abt's are super willing to set up trainings for all product. I even have customers asking me, "how do you keep track of all this stuff" and I respond by telling them it's what we do and we are trained for greatness. You may read a review here and there about people bashing the company and that's understandable because people are emotional, but if you do your job properly you will grow. If you do something wrong, like with any job, there are always consequences. I walked in here and started on the bottom of the sales totem pole and in a few years was elevated to the position I wanted to be at based on hard work and dedication. I treat this job as a career and the Abt's have been nothing but great to me. I like the way the company is heading and improvements are made daily and your growth and income potential is as high as the sky.

Cons

Retail. That's all I have to say. Retail is retail, and nights and weekends are a given, and that's definitely where the opportunity is to earn.

They don't value employees

Pros

It's better working here than being homeless...but not by much.

Cons

-They get rid of people that have been there a long time for no valid reason and deny that they are doing it to just cut costs. -As one of the top ranked and efficient sales reps in my department, I was fired out of the blue after over a decade of employment and the excuse that was given to me was that they wanted someone that can work more hours than me. The company claims that they would never fire anyone out of the blue or for no valid reason but I was never given a warning that they wanted someone full time, nor was I ever requested to go full-time. So yes, "out of the blue" and for "no valid reason" applies here as I told them I would be willing to go full-time if they wanted me to. They then replied that there were no full-time positions available. So they want someone full-time but don't have any full-time positions available?! Yeah...makes a lot of sense. -Company is often forced to eat their words and subsequently end up contradicting themselves.. -They like to brag about how they've never had a layoff and they were voted a great place to work, but that is a skewed analysis as they have employees vote for themselves when it comes to these surveys and reviews. -They try to cover up their immoral behavior but never provide any justification.
