-They get rid of people that have been there a long time for no valid reason and deny that they are doing it to just cut costs.
-As one of the top ranked and efficient sales reps in my department, I was fired out of the blue after over a decade of employment and the excuse that was given to me was that they wanted someone that can work more hours than me. The company claims that they would never fire anyone out of the blue or for no valid reason but I was never given a warning that they wanted someone full time, nor was I ever requested to go full-time. So yes, "out of the blue" and for "no valid reason" applies here as I told them I would be willing to go full-time if they wanted me to. They then replied that there were no full-time positions available. So they want someone full-time but don't have any full-time positions available?! Yeah...makes a lot of sense.
-Company is often forced to eat their words and subsequently end up contradicting themselves..
-They like to brag about how they've never had a layoff and they were voted a great place to work, but that is a skewed analysis as they have employees vote for themselves when it comes to these surveys and reviews.
-They try to cover up their immoral behavior but never provide any justification.
