Pros

I've had many Jobs in the past but nothing like Abt, it has been the best retail place to work at ( bet no one says that about retail) As a salesman you have the ability to make as little and as much as you like as long as you work hard and comply within the rules. We have all the tools needed to succeed, if anyone says otherwise than sales is not for you.

Good employee discounts on product they sell, family oriented company, can be flexible if you are in school, pay is hourly but raises are frequent (once per year-16 months) , great health benefits and 401K

Cons

very political, bonuses are totally unrealistic, retail hours require you usually work on some holidays as well as one weekend day

Hard work and results are recognized. Great pay. Great benefits. Average employee has very long tenure, which says a ton about Abt. If you are going to work in retail, there is no better place to be.

Cons

It's retail. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are part of the deal.
