Pros

Started at Ax back in 2005/06 when it had 30 employees, worked tirelessly for 7/8 years and left when the company had over 600 employees. When steve Evans, Ian crump where there it was fantastic company. Then they employed staff who were only after themselves in external and internal roles. These staff thought they were god and genuinely believes they were getting lined up for promotion not realising the whole time the directors were about to retire themselves! Some unbelievable memories helped cut my Teeth. Not surprisingly they went down hill fast, had to move out of the luxury alpha 1 office and now in a shack of an office. 2006-2009 the Xmas parties were the best days.

Cons

External sales staff who thought they were share holders !

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As you mention a lot has changed since some of the times you reflect upon. AX experienced significant growth and has done its best to retain the personal touch and "family feel". It is our people who make the difference and we like to recognise and reward this. We now have a Learning and Development team implementing a new skills matrix which will identify the talent across the business and show where further support is required. Allowing us to promote from within and nurture career progression. Our suite of benefits has also been revised to ensure they are fit for purpose. We care for our employees and are dedicated to always improving. The "luxury office" had to be vacated due to Covid-19 and all colleagues immediately started working from home. We are excited to soon be moving into our new home headquarters which will be an inclusive and engaging collaborative space for all colleagues.
