The worst managers I've ever seen

Pros

flex hours and partial gym reimbursment

Cons

The worst managers I’ve ever seen. They don’t have any IT skills but are “coordinating” IT people. They don’t know what people are doing. They just care how to move the people and desks around. If someone is useless they make him\her a (sub)-manager and promote him. Unbelievable

Pros

Literally none, you meet some cool people but you all get screwed over.

Cons

Mass hires then mass fires. If you’re in a management role you have to fire the people even though they have done nothing to deserve it and it’s not your choice. Top performers get fired first because they cost more salary wise and they would rather save more money than retain good staff.

Top Management in a bubble

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Customer care for our clients. Lower level "workers" care about each other and making the product right for the company. Direct Manager is great but held back by SR management.

Cons

Top level management working in a bubble. They have lost touch with how the "workers" solve customer problems. John states "when I was a Cobol programer" and only uses examples from "ATRRS" when he addresses company forums. There is more to ASM than ATRRS and our TOP LEADERSHIP has lost the focus on the customer. Everything is about the bottom dollar and making revenue goals. SR leadership is all Males. There may be one or two females in the VP/Director/SR VP role, but the males dominate the company which is clear by decisions pushed out.
