      Pros

      Great Staff, Very light environment - frontline employees are very cooperative. New HR is more competent than the previous one. Facilities has improved a lot - and we are realising the efforts of the new Facilities Manager.

      Cons

      I guess I just have a problem with the temper of the Centre Head, in our last APAC townhall he spoke about being "profiled" by John Collington? I wasn't sure if that was a criticism to the leadership he is getting; more so we thought it was very inappropriate to have vented out in that venue. There is also lack of follow through, they are only great during the onset - example is this work stream project, which at first was very hyped but i moving on I just see them smoking at the 9th floor more often than ever.

I am pleased to read your comments about the improvements you have seen As you know I visited the centre in June and have been really pleased with the progress that has been made since then. However, I would be really interested to hear more about your experience in the Manila office and particular your comments about the Centre Head and progress on Project Leap.       Childish clique-ish management

      Pros

      - some decent client names - okay contractor rates

      Cons

      - Immature management incapable of allowing grown-ups to take own decisions, highly political - if you challenge anything at any level, it is met with contempt and derision - Everything is KPI led and driven - no room for judgment, typically these are totally unrealistic and bear no resemblance to the role - Very little support - sink or swim environment - No social glue to keep people together, even permanent employees did not know where the HQ was! - Everything is a battle - getting expenses paid, given sub-standard tools to do job i.e. phone/laptop

      Pros

      The company has received numerous awards recognising it as a great place to work, and it is clear to see why. The investment in people, the collaborative working environment and the approachability of the leadership team all contribute to making Alexander Mann Solutions an enjoyable and rewarding place to be.

      Cons

      Having worked for Alexander Mann Solutions for three years, I am pleased to say that there are no aspects of the company I would want to change. I would (and do) recommend the company when friends or family are looking for work.
