Pros

The company is a very flexible employer, I attend the office 1 day a week and the rest of the time work from home. I am able to work my hours quite flexibly and they are very accommodating for parents. There are a huge variety of clients to work for & a number of different types of recruitment teams e.g. Early careers, perm, CWS etc which if you want it allow you the ability to grow your experience and change your role which can keep it interesting. Even when working for the same client there are different teas you can recruit for and different projects within AMS you can support on, the work is interesting. The Managers do genuinely appreciate their employees, they are honest and there are good processes in place for feedback. The people are great, anyone I have worked with I have enjoyed working with & the leaders are very down to earth & easy to speak to.

Cons

The company has faced a number of difficult years due to the downturn in the recruitment market, this has in turn led to a number of years with no or very minimal bonus and a number of years with very minimal pay increases and unfortunately this year a completely delayed and uncertain pay increase. The performance perspectives are quite unclear year on year & it seems that no matter how well you perform, whether you are rated 'exceeds' or 'outstanding' you aren't provided with any sort of financial reward and there are very little progression opportunities so it is hard to remain motivated to over achieve, Although I have just recently moved into a more senior different position so it shows that there are still some opportunities out there. The maternity pay is terrible, as a fertility friendly and flexible employer this should be improved and the overall flexible working arrangements more clear and available.

Pros

Hybrid work model is good, and salary is paid on time. Compensation is decent. The work environment is positive, particularly for employees working on AMS

Cons

Management needs improvement. In the RPO model, job security is a concern because once a project ends, there may not be another project to transition to.
