Pros

I just can't find any pros to work in this company.

Cons

1.- They pay less than what other companies pay 2.-You tie yourself to them for 1 year and if you want to leave the company before then you have to pay 10K dollars. Their reason is because of the time they invested for your visa, which you do everything, the only thing they send you is a bunch of papers where they just change your name and that's it. 3.- I have nothing against Mexicans, but most of their workforce belongs to John Deere Monterrey Mexico. Therefore, there is a lot of preference regarding the assignment of projects, despite the little knowledge that the person has. 4.- Months can go by without you performing a single task. If you are looking to settle down professionally and do nothing and have nothing to learn, go ahead, this is your company. 5.- When you're assigned a job, don't expect too much, you'll have to find out how by yourself what the goal of the project is, they add you to meetings at the last minute, they will share information drop by drop. And most of the time the tasks are very simple to do. 6.- Apparently no one can do home office, everyone has to be in the office, but curiously the project leaders are working at home and rarely go to the office. Obviously when they go, they want to see you there. Consider it twice before making the decision to sign a contract with them. Once you sign it there is no turning back, you will have to wait 1 whole year and during that year you will only see and loose opportunities that may convince you more. If someone is insisting you to accept this job offer, it is because that person will receive a referral bonus, which is approximately 2,500 dlls. He is literally selling you and he doesn't care about work.

Pros

- The business manager role is essentially a director position. You are the CEO of your accounts. You have extremely high levels of responsibility right from the start. - You will gain 5 years experience for every 2 years you are here. - Very good work environment. The directors and other BMs are really nice to work with. - Work events and drinks happen throughout the month. - Bonuses are really good if you manage to hit your targets (£36,000+).

Cons

- You will have 4 jobs. All those jobs require a 9-5 to do successfully. You need to have the time management skills Mastery in order to survive. I am not joking, you literally have 4 jobs. Each one of your roles can be broken into a 9-5 job. You should essentially be on 4 salaries. - Hours are long usually 8 to 630. Even then its still not enough to carry out all your work. - Little to no training provided. Expected to hit the ground running and learn on the job. - Only way to grow and increase pay is by hitting your bonuses. If you do not hit your bonuses you will not survive on the base salary. - Located in London. Everything is extremely pricy. - Have to come to the office 5 days a week. - Internal business (HR, Payroll, IT etc) are 1/10 stars. Every little issue takes 6 weeks to resolve. - Extremely high expectations for the Business Managers. You are worked to the bone.

Pros

The offer a Vacation + and Insurance plan + STM discount.

Cons

I signed a full-time permanent contract but look at what happened to me ( I have a master degree in engineering) : They do not protect their contractors. They care only about their clients, even if the client is in the wrong so they are afraid of loosing it. They treat their contractor like dirt. (i will give more insights below) They are doing some type of check-up interview in the client site to see if you are "OK" but in the end, they are just doing it for the form (fake). This is in Alten contract: If the client decides to terminate the contract , he just need to give a notice of one week and do not need to make any reason (just says contract terminated) even for a permanent position contract (which in the end do not mean anything). So you do not have any protection as a contractor and Alten will give a week or two to find you a new job with them which is realistically impossible to do. In the end, they say that they will try their best to get unemployment allowance (also fake). This is really scary for somebody who have a family to take care of, so be really careful before signing even if the benefits are tempting, think about the financial stability around your job...
