Pros

Work with good customers, however I was embarrassed to tell the customers I worked for ALTEN due to their reputation.

Cons

- Terrible Management - Have to be French to proceed even though the company is based in the UK with UK customers - Massive % mark ups on consultants (approx. 40%) - Very low salary - Very long notice period - Bristol office is so basic at best - Progression = More admin work

Pros

The only good thing is that you could get a good experience on your CV not because of them but because of their customers. Company to avoid unless you are starting or you want to have a good work experience for a limited time.

Cons

The company is totally unorganised, from the top to the bottom. As other reviews say: managers make promises and do not keep them (you are just treated like a number) and their administrative and HR departments are totally messed up. I experienced unacceptable things.

be aware! incompetent managment they sell you to customers without caring about your skills and in the case that they are incompetent they fire you. No training courses Check: Labor disputes in Alten Spain
