Pros

There is opportunity for smart, talented people to advance. There are a number of different divisions and testing companies within ALS so lateral moves and relocation moves are available to employees that apply. Benefits (medical, 401K) are above average.

Cons

The company is driven by bottom line performance. Investment in resources (especially talent) is below average for the size of the company. Good employees are overworked while poor performance is overlooked and tolerated.

The Flexibility, when you're hired your start time may be 6 am, but you could work around that and come in at 7:30 or 8. As long as the work is getting done in the time alloted

Cons

The company is poorly managed and unsafe to work in. There is no support from your superior or co-workers. You're pretty much on your own and thrown under the bus multiple times.

Cons

Management is fair at best New ownership is unwilling to take a loss in the downturn so they've laid off nearly all staff with a poor severance.
