Pros
One of the best continuous improvement processes. They allocate funds specifically for continuous improvement projects and strive for quick implementation. The Sunflower Manufacturing facility in Kansas had a great continuous improvement focus and unbelievable achievements within a 3-5 year window.
Cons
At Sunflower their priority system was difficult to manage. Priority 9's became Priority 1's in a manner of minutes. Some priorities were changed to accomodate a $50 attachment when the focus should of been producing components for $50,000 complete assemblies.
