Pros

*The new CEO, Eric Hansotia, is focused, transparent and has created an excellent plan for re-organizing the company and realigning the focus to meet our customers, the farmers, needs. The metrics he and the Senior staff provide for success are clear and challenging. *The AGCO culture is very team focused even across global departments. I am continually met with people want to assist. In IT there is an absence of managers and directors trying to become power brokers and instead they focus on results. *The corporation is openly focused on Inclusion and Diversity and it has its own Black Employee Network and Women's Employee Network, both of which are actively promoted and championed. *The progressive and aggressive R&D for technical and mechanical features and improvements is amazing. *A new approach of "Stay" interviews is being implemented to check in with staff and ensure their needs are being heard.

Cons

*Staff are stressed due the additional workload required to make up for people quitting and retiring as it takes a long time to hire replacements. *Salaries are average, which makes it a challenge to be competitive hiring new staff. *There is no global project management organization nor focus on providing a PM Center of Excellence. You are on your own as a PM as there is no corporate measure of success nor global tracking of how well projects are succeeding or failing. *The German CIO does not ask whether his demands can be met by his direct reports which is causing burnout throughout IT organization as they try to meet these demands.
