Pros

ABB has virtually limitless opportunities to grow and learn. Attracts talent to work in technical innovations that later become “de facto” standards in industry. Offers fair remuneration package for employees.

Cons

Increasingly top heavy company, its large overhead costs make it difficult to compete in the market place. ABB is a technology innovative giant plagued with processes that do not add value to the customer and make goals hard to reach. If you are a Lean Six-Sigma advocate and want to face a big challenge, this company may be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you want to work in an environment that promotes efficiency to achieve goals, this place may be frustrating at times.

Opportunities for global mobility are plenty. Young people in this company are great assets.

Cons

No sabbatical leave policy. Unfortunately there is a lot of people close or in burnout state in this company.
