Pros

The company is very focused on providing the best in class in customer service. The Member First philosophy is not just spoken - it is delivered. There is a very strong sense of community/comraderie among the people who work for AAA. For the most part, teams work extremely well together.

Cons

It is very much a good old boys network at the top.

Pros

37.5 hour weeks, good people who are under appreciated. They hire people with below par resumes and groom them up.

Cons

I have a gripe, this year we are expected to fill out a survey for some independent PR firm in Delaware. However, it's complete BS. Why? because the survey is BS. Rather then seek a reputable firm such as the Great places to work institute, they decide to use some two-bit firm in Delaware. Moreover, when they do get the results, they don't share it with their co-workers, instead they let certain information "trickle" down. Good workplaces allow for transparency, however, AAA MidAtlantic is NOT one of them. They give the illusion that they value input from employees, however, we have NO idea what initiatives were implemented from 3 years prior when they took a similar survey. If they really want true transparency and a environment which makes their employees think that AAA cares, then let the information flow FREELY to all.
