World Gym operates World Gym International, which runs and franchises health and fitness centers. The company, doing business as World Gym International, also earns revenue by selling workout gear including apparel, water bottles, sports bags, and related accessories, as well as nutrition products. World Gym has more than 200 franchisees worldwide in regions such as North America (including 36 US states), South America, Asia/Pacific, and the Middle East. Joe Gold formed World Gym in 1977; today it is owned by the family of managing director Guy Cammilleri.
